unconsciousness

A collection of some frames I shot last night. Swim meets are death when it comes to identifying people in your shots, so to help keep track of where I'm at later when I go through my take, I shoot frames between races and write down what it was I shot on my printout of all the races and names so that I have reference points along the way. These shots are unconscious in the sense that, I don't think of making a picture, I just point my camera at something I can name (like "white flag," or "water"), sometimes looking through the viewfinder sometimes not, pull the trigger, and hope I can match the frame up with what I wrote down.
